Where we work

Five counties, one crew.

The Albuquerque metro is the core of it — Bernalillo, Sandoval and Valencia counties. We also run north to Santa Fe and Eldorado, and south to Las Cruces and Mesilla. If you are on the map there is no travel charge and no waiting for us to be in the area.

County

Bernalillo County, NM

The widest range of roof types anywhere in the state, all inside one county line. Flat pueblo and territorial roofs with parapets through the North Valley and the older core, pitched-roof tract housing across the Northeast Heights and the West Side, and custom homes stepped into the Sandia foothills. Three different mounting details, which is the reason we look at the house before we put a number on it.

County

Sandoval County, NM

Rio Rancho, Corrales, Bernalillo and Placitas — master-planned subdivisions on one side of the river and village lots along the bosque on the other. Rio Rancho repeats the same stucco and parapet detail street after street, which makes for clean installs and an HOA that will want to know what is going on the house.

County

Valencia County, NM

Los Lunas, Belen, Bosque Farms and Peralta. The fastest-growing edge of the metro and mostly newer pitched-roof housing with a straightforward fascia to work from — mixed in with older river-valley homes where flat and pitched sit on the same street.

County

Santa Fe County, NM

Santa Fe, Eldorado, Tesuque and La Cienega. The most tightly regulated exterior lighting in our area and the most consistent architecture — low, flat-roofed and earth-colored. Warm, shielded and aimed down is not a compromise here, it is the local standard.

County

Doña Ana County, NM

Las Cruces and Mesilla, two hundred miles south of Albuquerque and a genuinely different climate — hotter, drier, and lower. Predominantly flat-roofed stucco with parapet walls, with the Organ Mountains behind everything.
